Adrianne Salmon

Calamity Jane – Millie and Adelaide
Beauty and the Beast – Belle
Adrianne Salmon is so excited to be returning to the Carriage House Theatre
for her second season. An Edmonton girl, Adrianne is a recent graduate of
the Grant MacEwan Theatre Arts program. Some of her favorite roles in the
past have been Aunt Eller in “Oklahoma”, Sour Kangaroo in “Seussical”, Amy
March in “Little Women”, and Ritti Sing in “Hot Mikado”. Aside from
theatre, Adrianne enjoys art and music composition. She is currently
preparing for her next adventure when she will be going to Scotland in
September to pursue her Masters in Musical Theatre at the Royal Scottish
Academy of Music and Drama (RSAMD). She’d like to thank everyone involved
in the productions, but the biggest thanks goes to her parents and family.

Brent Gill

Calamity Jane – Bill Hickok
Beauty and the Beast – Gaston
Brent is ecstatic to be making his Carriage House Theatre debut
playing the roles of Gaston and Wild Bill Hickok! A native of Cranbrook,
BC, he is currently earning his degree in Theatre at Bishop’s University in
Sherbrooke, Quebec. For the last two seasons Brent been employed by the
Kimberley Summer Theatre Co. in BC’s Kootenay region, and played the lead
role of “Chandler Marlowe” in last year’s musical production of The
Butler Did It, Singing. In addition, Brent has been the recipient of
many awards for his work on stage, including: Top Distinction in Theatre
Performance, the Cranbrook Community Theatre Award and Scholarship, and a BC
Provincial Championship in Speech Arts for Poetry, Prose and Drama. Recent
credits include: The Laramie Project (BU), Where’s Charley? (KST),
Woody Allen’s: GOD (COTR), Les Miserables, Beauty and the
Beast, The Wizard of Oz (WT), as well as performances in the “New
Plays Festival” and “Theatre Activ Festival” in Quebec. Away from the
theatre, Brent is an avid golfer (3-handicap) and plays hockey – he’s the
goalie! “Endless thanks to my family and my sweetheart for their tremendous
support.”

Beauty and the Beast – The Beast
Jonas, the Mighty has once again decided to bestow his grace upon the
Carriage House Theatre. Some of his favorite past roles were in “Charley’s
Aunt”, “Seven Brides for Seven Brothers”, and “Oklahoma!”. Yes, not only is
Jonas shockingly handsome man, he also is a complete joy to watch when he
is sharing his many, manly talents. Come and enjoy watching him! And if
you haven’t seen enough of him, you will find him guiding rafting daytrips
down the St. Marys River with Kimball River Sports.

Kyle Sanders

One Fine Day - Dean
Calamity Jane - Rattlesnake
Beauty and the Beast – Cogsworth, the Clock
Kyle and his family moved to Cardston a year ago, although Kyle is no
stranger to Cardston. This is Kyle’s third year performing at the Carriage
House Theatre. Kyle has performed in plays such as “Beauty and the Beast”,
“Seussical the Musical” twice, “Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat”,
“Alice in Wonderland”, and a parody called “Phantom of the Opry”. Kyle has
just finished a semester at the University of Lethbridge studying Voice,
Musical Theory, and Drama. Kyle’s hobbies include snowboarding, playing his
guitar, and working on his 1966 Jeep Commando. Kyle is grateful for the
opportunity he has to be part of the summer cast.

Beauty and the Beast – Mrs. Potts, the Teapot
Laurel is so happy to be back for her second season at the Carriage House
Theatre! Originally from Southern California, she and her family moved to
the Cardston area just a few years ago. Back in California, Laurel was
heavily involved in an award-winning quartet and several area choirs. She
loves to travel, sing and play guitar, experiment with all forms of art, and
try new things! She would like to thank all the amazing people she has had
the privilege to work with here at the theatre. They have become some of
her closest friends! She also wants to say thanks to her family for being
so supportive and AMAZING! THANKS!

Matt Van Boeyen

One Fine Day - Johnny
Calamity Jane – Danny Gilmartin
Beauty and the Beast – Lumiere, the Candlestick
Born and raised in Cranbrook, British Columbia, Matt began
his stage career in the first grade, first being cast as a clown who did
somersaults. Since then Matt has been fortunate enough to appear in many
shows such as Peter Pan, Jesus Christ Superstar, and Beauty and the Beast.
Having played Lumiere before, Matt is thrilled to be given another chance at
the role. For the past two summers, Matt has been employed by Kimberley
Summer Theatre performing in the shows Where's Charley? and The Butler Did
It, Singing as well as the afternoon Vaudeville Show. Matt has also just
graduated from the Theatre Arts program at Grant MacEwan college in
Edmonton. Recent musical theatre credits include Little Women (Professor
Bhaer), Good News! (Tom Marlowe), and The Hot Mikado (Pooh-bah). Matt would
love to thank all the amazing teachers he has had over the years who have
contributed to his involvement in the arts. Enjoy the show!

Calamity Jane – Calamity
Beauty and the Beast - Madame de la Grande Bouche, the Wardrobe
Coming from Prince George, BC, Rachel Ryan is thrilled to be
back for another fun filled summer at the Carriage House. Rachel’s theatre
experience started in Grade Six when she was cast as “Betty Body” in the
Christmas play. Her love of Theatre continued and she was cast as the oldest
orphan in Annie a few years later. She continued her journey with dance and
voice lessons and participated in music festivals and last year earned
Provincial runner up. This past year she has been studying music at BYU
Idaho, where she participated in a BYU-I version of Princess Bride, and was
in her first opera, THE MAGIC FLUTE. Rachel would like to thank the Carriage
House for providing this wonderful summer job, and her directors for their
encouragment and support, and her fellow cast members for the memories and
friendship!

Calamity Jane – Frances Fryer
Beauty and the Beast – le Fou
Well, it looks like the Carriage
House Theatre just couldn’t scare him away. Ricky is extremely excited to
be back onstage for this summer season! This is Ricky’s fourth Summer
Theatre at the CHT. Some of his past roles include LeFou in “Beauty and the
Beast”, The Cat in the Hat in “Seussical, the Musical”, and Albert Peterson
in this years high school’s production of “Bye Bye Birdie”. Ricky loves
life at the theatre, but mostly he loves the people he works with. In
Ricky’s free time, he loves biking, swimming, making movies, and simply
goofing around. Ricky, just graduated from the Cardston High School this
past year, where he held the position of student body president. When Ricky
is not at the theatre, he can be found lifeguarding at the Cardston pool.

Beauty and the Beast – Babette, the Feather Duster
Sarah was born and raised in
Brentwood Bay on Vancouver Island, BC. Sarah is very excited to be
making her CHT debut. She is a graduate of The Canadian College of
Performing Arts, and recently played Maisie in their year end production of
" The Boyfriend." Last year Sarah ventured into BC's interior to play
Mabel Duprel/Haversham in Kimberley SUmmer Theatre's production of "The
Butler did it Singing." and was a featured soloist in the afternoon
vaudeville show. Recent credits include: Andromache in 'The Greeks',
Hope Harcourt in 'Anything Goes' and herself in '18 til I DIe' which she
co-wrote with her fellow cast member. She would like to thank the
wonderful CHT cast and community and her loving family, friends and Gaston
for their never ending support and encouragement.
