Rachelle Sugden- Les Miserables
I love all aspects of the theatre and consider every successful costume piece, made up face or cobblestoned floor a highlight. I love working with young performers at the CJHS fulfilling to see them grow up on the stage. Some of my other favorite things are running, vegan food, my kids and my adorable grandkids. Thanks forever to my three families; my flesh and blood family, my school family, and this amazing community. I feel you all raising me up. Once again – the Arts have saved my life – TO CREATE IS TO LIVE!!
Maria Rosvick- Les Miserables
I am a Music and Math education major at the University of Lethbridge where I have just completed my third year. This year I have also studied French Horn and Voice and have been involved in the YWCA Women’s Choir, the Lethbridge Symphony Orchestra and the U of L Global drums. A special thanks to the U of L Musical Theatre Society (my second family) for helping me have the courage to audition for Les Miserables. I believe that when life gives you lemons, make grape juice. Then sit back and let them wonder how you did it.
Ben Olsen - GAVROCHE
I am in Grade 3! I play the violin and I want to be a movie director when I grow up. In my spare time I like building Lego and reading Harry Potter. Les Miserables is one of my favorite musicals and I am so happy to be a part of it! Thanks to Cidelle for mentoring me – and thanks to the cast for everything.
Max Gilchrist - All Shook Up - Les Miserables - ANNIE
I have recently graduated from high school and this next year I hope to pursue musical theatre education. I have been in several different shows at the CHT – and have loved each of them. This summer has been very busy with my involvement in all three summer productions – but it is what I love doing more than anything else. I am excited to be performing this fall as Jon Darling in LMT’s production of Peter Pan – and hope to see some of you there.
Brody Bevans - Les Miserables
I go to Cardston High School and one of my favorite previous roles is being Olin Britt in the Junior High’s production of The Music Man. I love to be outdoors either fishing or hunting with my dogs. I would like to thank my Grandpa for starting the spark that got me interested in theatre.
Ryan Novak - All Shook Up - Les Miserables
I have performed in over 10 Broadway Musicals and am currently pursuing a degree in Education at the University of Lethbridge. I loved learning languages, storytelling through song and fiddling with musical harmonic counterpoint. I am a proud member of the Kapa Sigma Fraternity. I have loved being in the summer shows and have especially enjoying being at the theatre with my best friend, cast mate and the love of my life, Jillian Harvie.
Dalys Fletcher - All Shook Up - Les Miserables - ANNIE
My name is Dalys Fletcher and I am absolutely thrilled to be part of this summer's shows! I love to perform, especially with amazing people like those in this cast. Some of my favourite shows from the past include "The Music Man", "My Son Pinocchio", "Annie", and "The Drowsy Chaperone". Having just completed grade 10, I am excited to finish high school and become a teacher in the future years. I would like to especially thank my family for being such a support to me through everything I do. I wouldn't be able to accomplish any of this without them. I hope you enjoy the shows as much as I have!
Emma Atwood - Les Miserables
I am in high school and when I’m not working, being involved with CHS service club, or coaching/playing soccer, I am at the theatre and loving every minute of it. This past year I was involved in helping assist and stage manage the CHT Children’s Theatre program with Megan Toone. I love Les Mis - it is legit so cheer loud!
Emily Zemp - All Shook Up - Les Miserables - ANNIE
This summer I am in all three shows and I can’t begin to tell you how excited I am! Some of my favorite shows I’ve been a part of in the past include Suessical the Musical, The King and I and Annie. I want to give a shout out to my very supportive family. I love them so much! I’m so grateful for the opportunity to be a part of the cast this summer, they are truly inspirational.
Kennedy Crawford - All Shook Up - Les Miserables - ANNIE
I am a student at the Cardston High School and will be going into Grade 12 this fall. I love dancing, drawing and playing/walking with my brother and dog, Puccini. My life has been very involved in Theatrical Productions these past few years. This summer has been especially busy with my involvement in all of the summer productions – but I have enjoyed every moment of it!
Nate Sims - GAVROCHE
I am excited to be part of Les Miserables. I was sick and up in the Children’s hospital when I found out that I had gotten the part of Gavroche. I was excited and it gave me something to help me forget how sick I felt. It is exciting to hear and see the amazing talent of all of the cast and crew. Everyone has been fun and welcoming – and it has been fun to work with Ben and learn our parts together. I also love soccer, jet skiing and being with friends. Special thanks to my family for their support – and Patty for being such a great voice teacher – and to everyone involved in Les Miserables
Have you ever wondered what it would be like to live someone else's life for a little while? Well that has been my job for 5 summers now and I can tell you that it is wildly and fantastically fun! I've been many different characters over the years including The Cat in the Hat, Huck Finn and various breeds of nerds, geeks, oddballs and...you get the idea. I'm happy to be adding two villains and a loving father to my repertoire this summer. I guess that just leaves me with playing a woman. Oops! I've even done that. Enjoy the shows!
What a great summer cast we have this year!!!!
Enola Breanne Schow
I was born and raised here in Cardston and am so excited to finally get the chance to be a full-time cast member for CHT this summer! I've just finished my Bachelors of Music in Vocal Performance at BYU-Idaho and now I'm back to live out a dream I've had since I was little. Some of my favorite experiences have been right on this stage when I got to be a part of Beauty and the Beast and play Rosie in Bye Bye Birdie. I grew up singing Broadway and pop music but at school I studied opera so I'm loving the challenge this summer, with these wonderful shows and this excellent cast, to push myself to new facets of my range! Music is one of the biggest parts of who I am and I feel so blessed to have been given this opportunity to share what God gave me
I am so excited to be back at the Carriage House Theatre this summer! I was born and raised in Cardston, so most of you probably know me, or my parents, or my grandparents! Recently I have been down at Brigham Young University Provo studying in the Dance Performance program. There I have been privileged to be a part of their modern dance company, "DancEnsemble". What I am most excited for this summer is to be able to play the role of Lorraine in "All Shook Up"—It has been my dream since I saw the show nearly eight years ago! I know that I wouldn’t be where I am today without the constant support of this theatre, my family, and my Heavenly Father, for that I am eternally grateful.
